Missions
Now in the morning, when He was returning to the city, He became hungry. Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only; and He *said to it, "No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you." And at once the fig tree withered. Seeing this, the disciples were amazed and asked, "How did the fig tree wither all at once?" And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:18-22 NASB
Let's pray, believing God will answer our prayers for the NAME Peoples: 500,000,000 people 900 people groups in 100 countries (less than one percent of 500,000,000) >1% follow Jesus Prayer Focus: Gaza Strip Please pray for the most crowded place in the world that is war-torn and desperately needs our prayers. Pray for Ahmed (20) who wants Palestine to have its own country, for peace. Pray for Muhammed (47) that God would provide daily food for him and his family of 12. Pray for Kamal (40) who simply wanted us to pray for all Palestinian Peoples Pray for Mrs. H (78) a grandmother of 20 and mother of 4, who asked us to pray for her health. Pray for Isa (9) who wants safety for his parents Pray for EM (52) a woman who wanted peace and improvement of situation in the Gaza Strip.
We hear stories on the national news and many of us have formed our own opinions regarding who's land this belongs to, but we often forget that God loves the Palestinians just as much as He loves the Israelites. His desire is that all peoples would know Him through Jesus. Pray for peace and safety, that God would stabilize the region, pray for the President (ours) that God would give him wisdom like Solomon in terms of dealing with their leaders. Pray that our national policies would be in line with what God wants, not what the dispensationalists want!

Michigan Trip Details: Our association (The Madison County Baptist Association) along with the Alabama Baptist Convention have partnered with the Baptist Convention of Michigan and will be taking several missions trips in 2011. Pennsylvania Trip Details: Ken and Paula Cordray are Nehemiah church planters North American Mission Board. Please be in prayer as our church is considering a partnership with The Grove Church in Greentree, PA. Currently, the Cordray's are laying the groundwork for the church plant which will hopefully be launched in 2011.
